Since 2000, MATHIEU DAQUIN has been a shining example
of the dedication found within the Rotary Club of Weston,
Florida, Rotary Boca Raton Sunset, Florida, and currently,
the Rotary Club of Maplewood/South Orange, New Jersey.
His commitment to service, both locally and globally, is a
testament to the values Rotary International upholds.
“ We are proud to have members like MATHIEU who
contribute to our activities and charitable projects,” said
Phil Lustig, Past Rotary District Governor.
Mathieu’s aim has always been to positively influence the
local and global communities through service, charitable
projects, and fellowship.
He hopes his passion and energy will cause others to join
him and support his efforts in the same spirit as Rotary.
"Service Above Self."
By becoming involved in his organization, the International
Center 4 Youth Services ( IC4YS) will contribute to our
mission and experience personal
satisfaction from unselfishly giving from the heart. This
spirit drives IC4YS's passion and energy, and we invite you
to join us in our efforts.
IC4YS is founded IN 2002 with a mission to provide direct services to the at-risk of youth of Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes and Lauderhill of Broward County.
IC4YS is a publicly supported faith-based and grass root organization with the main purpose of reducing juvenile delinquency in Broward County , as well as exposing the disadvantaged population and especially disabled students with positive outlets that allow them to enhance and /or create a stronger and more effective spirit, mind and body.
The Academic Component of IC4YS focuses on reading and math ( which are critical components of the FCAT), Science, Writing and Technology. Outside of academic enrichment, the students will be involved with weekly activities that consist of drama, fitness, health, music, sports and other cultural and enhancement activities.
The motto of IC4YS IS “ Guiding Youth Through Partnerships”. We will partner with other organizations and agencies throughout the year to provide additional services should a particular need arise. In doing so will allow IC4YS the capability to create a network of services from various referral sources.
Services will be provided after school from 2:30-6:00 weekdays, 8:30 to 6:00 in the summer, from 8:30 to 6: 00 on teacher panning days and holidays.
The program provides afterschool and holiday care for low-income youth ages 11-18, with the greatest need in Broward County, Florida with a comprehensive curriculum that includes academic, enrichment, health and fitness, and cultural activities. Emphasis is placed 0n 33309 corridor.
The aforementioned programs allow IC4YS to work with the family on a holistic level instead of just providing services to the child. Our programs provide a channel for parents to become “ decision-makers” in the life of their children.
IC4YS has a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board formed of 13 respective leaders in the community.
